Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles – A flash back
By · CommentsTerminator- The Sarah Connor Chronicles is an American Science Fiction television series, which picks up the things exactly one year after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This Warner Bros. production moves around the eventful lives of fictional characters Sarah and John Connor. Sarah has recently shelled out the terminator sent from the future to kill her son, John. Now they both are going through a very complex world as fugitives with a fear in mind, every moment several enemies from past, present and the future are following them and they can be attacked at any time. Their life is just running…. running and running and no stays at all, if they even think to take any shelter, some more unexpected tragedies do happen and they are once again set to run faster than the time!!

Tired from such kinda frustrating and embarrassing life, and realizing that things will never be over, they decide to stop running. Sarah prefers to go on the offensive against the Terminators set on finishing her life. John, the 15 year old boy, knows that he’s the only one to save mankind, but he is not ready to take on the responsibility of his destiny. Cameron is John’s fellow student at his high school that protects John and Sarah from life threatening creatures. Sarah decides to take a change of scenery and she and John expose themselves to FBI Agent James Ellison and Skynet’s Army of terminators. Sarah informs all of them that judgment day is not blocked and will take place in 2011.
Lena Headey, From ‘Terminator’ to ‘Game of Thrones’
By · CommentsLena Headey has locked a new destination in her TV career. The Sarah Connor of FOX’s recently-canceled “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” moves on to an HBO pilot called “Game of Thrones” which is adapted from George R.R. Martin’s book series of the same name. It is a fantasy chronicling the battle among seven kings and two ruling families for control of the Iron Throne.

Headey will be Queen Cersei of House Lennister. A wife of King Robert, Cersei is “every bit as smart, cunning and devious as the powerful men around her.” She is the sister of twin brother Jamie Lannister whom she is having an incestuous relationship with in the book. The show, however, will follow largely Ned Stark who leaves his home to serve the king.
HBO has not picked it up as a series and has not determined a premiere date but the shooting will begin shortly in Ireland. Other actors cast in the show are Mark Addy, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Sean Bean and Jennifer Ehle.
Lena Headey is the latest “Terminator” star to get a new casting role following the cancellation. Summer Glau has a recurring role in “Dollhouse“, Thomas Dekker is going to “A Nightmare on Elm Street” while Brian Austin Green is taking guest starring role in “Smallville“.
‘Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles’ TV Movie Planned
By · Comments“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” is not so dead after all. Talks are still active to bring back the show as a final curtain call for the fans, although it may no longer be a series. Thomas Dekker aka John Connor revealed in an interview with TV Addict that it may as well be a direct-to-DVD movie.

“They’ve spoken about doing a TV movie,” the 22-year-old said. “Well, not a TV movie, but kind of like a direct-to-DVD movie. Obviously it’s difficult because the show is based on a movie and they just had one come out, so it’s kind of hard to make a movie with our show because everyone has kind of forgotten about us. But they’re hoping, at least when I spoke to [Producer] James Middleton that’s where they are with it.”
“TTSCC” was officially canceled in mid May following two low-rating seasons while it’s Friday partner in midseason, “Dollhouse”, which also experienced the same problem was given another chance. “In the end, it really came down to DOLLHOUSE or us and that was sort of what happened. I think we were too expensive and DOLLHOUSE was a lot cheaper,” Dekker revealed his theory.
Also in the interview, Dekker spilled on what might happen if a third season was ordered. “…I mean it was going to be really interesting because there were questions in the future like is Sarah Connor at the age she would be in the future or is she already dead?,” he teased, adding that his relationship with Allison and Cameron may also be explored further.
Off from his terminator duty, Thomas Dekker is taking feature movie roles in “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and in an indie called “All About Evil”.
Surrogates Borrows Sarah Connor Poster Poses
By · CommentsI have this theory that Surrogates is actually one big excuse for Bruce Willis to get back his hair. I’m probably wrong. The movie does however, have Willis playing a younger robot version of himself while the current version stays home strapped into a futuristic beanbag chair. Or maybe it’s actually another sequel to Terminator?
IGN has a series of new Surrogates character posters which bear an uncanny resemblance to a teaser poster used to promote the now defunct Fox television show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It’s not just the idea of showing us the metal beneath a robot character’s skin that’s similar, even the colors and fonts are pretty much the same thing. Apparently someone in Disney’s art department was a big Sarah Connor fan. Check out the comparison:

The Sarah Connor Chronicles – Latest News
By · CommentsThe Word From on High: So what’s the latest word from Fox on the show’s future? Josh Friedman, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ show runner and executive producer, tell us that the latest news from the network is this: “They have given me no signs in either direction. I actually haven’t spoken with Fox in weeks. They said they’re going to make all their decisions when they get the pilots in, and I don’t think they have any of their pilots in yet. Things are just starting to come in from the other shows.”
Never Give Up, Never Give In: Definitely hang in there, fans, because Josh believes there is every hope that the show will get picked up. As he tells us about Fox’s executives and programming bosses (aka the powers that be), “They’re all people, too, and they hear what goes on [with stuff like Save One Show]. I don’t think it’s a futile effort at all for people to continue to fight for the show.”
The Drop-Dead Date: When will we know for sure? Says Josh, “My experience with them in the past is they make their decision on the day that they have to make their decision and not a day before that.” And that day? That’s May 18, the day of the Fox upfront, so mark your calendars, Terminator fans! We’ll be in New York that day to get the word live, so check back early and often for the latest updates on Terminator’s fate!
As the Man Said: “Fame. Ain’t It a Bitch?” In the meantime, don’t get bogged down in the to-and-fro reports in the media about Terminator’s fate. As a show runner with an endangered series, Josh likens the experience of constantly reading reports about his own future and fate in the press as being somewhat similar to living life as a Brangelina, Zanessa or Robsten (who are real people, believe it or not): “I think it must be what it’s like if you were a celebrity couple. You read stuff. Some of it may be true; some of it is definitely false, and you could spend time chasing down every jackass opinion and lie, but it would really take a lot of time.”

The Future You’re Fighting For: If and when season three does get a green light, Fox already has a sense of what it’s getting. Josh says, “I haven’t pitched a season three yet, but near the end of season two, I had a conversation with the network about season three just because they needed to understand the radical change in direction we had gone through in the finale. So they’ve know for a while some of my ideas for season three.”
Other Venues? And what if season three doesn’t happen? Could it go to another network? Says Josh, “It’s not an expensive show. It’s very average in terms of its costs, but it’s more expensive than all cable shows. There are limited places for a show like this, I think.” What about a comic? Josh says, “Everyone wants to plan for success and hope that it works out that way, and then if it doesn’t, we’ll see what happens.”
Shhh…It’s a Secret: Either way, there will be no spilling of secrets about Terminator’s third season…yet. “I think the finale speaks for itself. It’s very clear what season three is from watching the finale,” says Josh. (He’s kidding. I think.)
Still, there’ll be nothing but radio silence on storylines from team Terminator for the foreseeable future. Says Josh, “I just sent an email out to all the other writers, and I said that, probably, in the weeks ahead, many people will ask you either online or in interviews to talk about season three or ‘Can you explain certain things from the season two finale?’ I asked all the writers to just cordially not. I kind of feel like if we have a season three, people will see it, and if we don’t have a season three, I like people using their own imagination to see where it goes. And if we don’t have it, for me to kind of put my foot down—this is what this is and this is what that is—shuts down everyone else’s imagination. I think in a situation like this, it’s nice to let people kind of create their own fan fiction going forward.”
The Sarah Connor Chronicles – Not Renewed
By · CommentsResist the urge to nuke the messenger, but multiple sources are telling me that Fox will not be renewing Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles for a third season.
“It’s done,” maintains a source close to the show. “Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks.” Adds a network insider: “Consider it canceled.”
The one bright spot? Despite horrific ratings, Fox isn’t ready to declare SCC dead and buried — at least not officially. “No decision has been made yet,” insists a network rep. “We will be announcing our fall schedule on May 18.”
Rough translation: It won’t be back.
Oh, I just thought of one other bright spot: At least the show went out on top creatively. Last Friday’s finale was an action-packed, closure-filled triumph. The only thing left unresolved is what Summer Glau will do for an encore. I’m thinking 24 should hire her as next season’s Big Bad.
What do you think Glau should do next? Post your career advice — and unofficial SCC eulogies — in the comments section below.
Terminator: TSCC Likely to End with 2 Seasons
By · Comments
Ended with a cliffhanger, “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” has been waiting whether it is given a green or red light from FOX. The official verdict is not yet laid down but multiple sources are informing EW’s Ausiello that there won’t be a third season for the series starring Summer Glau and Lena Headey.
The second season finale on Friday, April 10 did not manage to pull a large number as only 3.57 million viewers tuned in according to Nielsen TV scan. A source close to the show told EW, “It’s done. Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks.” Another insider chimed in, “Consider it canceled.”
Still this is emphasized with the fact that FOX has not spawned any press release yet that will confirm the death of the show. A rep for the network said, “No decision has been made yet. We will be announcing our fall schedule on May 18.”
While there has been no report yet on what the cast will do should the show is canceled, one cast apparently has made preparation. Brian Austin Green who plays John’s uncle Derek in the series, has enrolled himself in a number of shows. He will be guest starring in an episode of “CSI: Miami” and joins the pilot of The CW’s “Body Politic”.
